Returns & Cancellations

**All returns must be authorized by an agent at The Father Hen.**

**All returns have to be inspected and verified upon receipt at The Father Hen before any refunds are issued.**

Return Period

You have 120 days to return your item if you meet the following criteria

  • Item(s) have been untouched and unopened
  • Item(s) have no conditions affecting its resale
  • Item(s) are undamaged
  • You have the original shipping box and packing material

Return Cost

Buyer's Remorse

  • Cost and responsibility of return shipping at time and expense of the client
  • 10% restocking fee
  • Item(s) must meet criteria listed in Return Period above

Defective or Damaged Product

  • Cost and responsibility of return shipping at time and expense of The Father Hen
  • Shipping label will be provided to the client if claim is approved
  • Item(s) must meet criteria listed in Return Period above

Guidelines for packing your return

  • Please pack the product in its original packaging.
  • Print out the return label and attach it to the outside of the box.
  • Secure tape with ample overlapping
  • Remove any existing labels from the box

Canceling an Order (PRIOR TO SHIPMENT):

Prior to shipment, you can cancel your order and receive a full refund. Please be reminded that in-stock items are shipped within 24 hours and typically the same day. Please email info@thefatherhen.ca as soon as possible to know the status of your order.

Cancellations Due to Order Processing Difficulties

Occasionally an order or part of an order may be cancelled for various reasons before leaving the warehouse. Some reasons are:

  • The item(s) are not available.
  • The lead time for the item (s) exceeds 8 weeks.
  • Your payment information could not be verified.
  • The shipping address could not be verified.

If your order is cancelled by us, you will receive a notice regarding your order via e-mail. You will not be billed for any cancelled items.

Before any partial cancellations, the client will be contacted to ensure a partial cancellation is acceptable to the client. If not, a full cancellation and full refund can be issued.
